FIRST
VISIT
We encourage both parents to be present for your child's
initial examination, especially if it is the first visit to
a dentist. If there is a particular reason you have come to
our office, please communicate this to our staff. Any
immediate needs will be met first. In the absence of a
specific concern, a complete examination will be done,
including necessary x-rays. Please realize that x-rays are a
vital part of our examination. X-rays allow us to determine
the existence and the extent of dental disease, and to
recognize other conditions, which cannot be seen by a
visual examination alone.
